Mobile handheld computer
In retail and wholesale branches, the B.O.S.S. Enterprise ERP system can be supplemented by the connection of wireless mobile handheld computers (data terminals) which are in exchange with a branch database via a WLAN network.
In wholesale branches these handheld computers are through the WMS B.O.S.S. Mobile app used for precise inventory and material management with the help of a pallet map of the warehouse and the exact location of the articles. Such a system constantly monitors the stocks at individual locations and continuously reacts to all activities of the warehouse workers. This makes the processes in the warehouse much more effective and prevents possible mistakes made by warehouse workers.
Mobile handheld computers are also commonly used by inventory commissions. The commission connects its computers to the network of a particular branch and conveniently performs stock inventory directly at the location.
